Art and Wellbeing Workshops
In person Art and Wellbeing workshops in Newquay, Cornwall designed for those who want to slow down and explore the restorative benefits of creating something beautiful with your own hands. Led by myself, an artist and teacher, these relaxed, inclusive workshops welcome non artists and beginners, offering a nurturing space to play creatively, inspired by nature and the sea.
When creativity and community come together, the benefits to our wellbeing are subtle yet powerful. We experience a sense of belonging, joy and connection through shared experience, renewed confidence and self worth, improved mood, reduced stress and a calmer nervous system.
Group numbers are intentionally kept small (maximum of 5 people) creating a calm, supportive space and allowing for meaningful personal interaction, reflection and one to one guidance. The emphasis is on coming together and gently engaging in a creative experience, where the process matters just as much as the finished piece.
I offer a range of coastal, nature-inspired workshops, including creating Coastal Themed Watercolour Greeting Cards, Abstract Coastal Collages on Canvas, Mixed Media Abstract Seascapes on Canvas and Mixed Media Coastal Motifs on Canvas. All canvas based workshops include a small easel, allowing you to display your finished piece at home. If you are looking for something a little different to give as a gift, then these creative workshops make a beautiful shared experience for friends and loved ones. Gift vouchers are available and private workshops can be arranged for small gatherings and celebrations. A discounted rate is available for group bookings of more than 4 people.
